Our client, a world leader in offshore drilling has recently agreed to sponsor a chair position for the Universiti Teknologi Petronas to establish and develop a Deepwater Technology specialist department

Summary:

As an expert in Deepwater Technology, you will identify and lead research projects that will contribute to substantial advancements in the field of deepwater drilling. You will also develop and promote both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes tailored to this area whilst attracting researchers, academics and post graduate students to the University. In addition you will act as an ambassador for the university through external promotion and discourse with both international academia and industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deepwater specialist to, not only be the focal point in raising the international profile of an academic institution, but to also realise the opportunity to leave a lasting personal legacy on deepwater technology and the region, and inspire the Oil and Gas leaders of the future.

The ideal Candidate will have a Masters Degree or preferably a Doctorate qualification in a relevant field.
