Michael Cripps

Educated in the UK, Michael Cripps read sciences and business studies. Mike developed an early career in industrial management before moving into recruitment.

Mike formed Cripps Sears whilst still in his 20's and has since developed his international search career to focus primarily on the energy/infrastructure and the energy finance/legal sectors. He is active globally but particularly in the EAME region and is supported by a specialist team.

Having recently recruited successfully for a number of positions at MD / Regional /Board Director level, Mike is also involved at the Senior Commercial Originator / Trader / Business Developer / Financial Specialist levels, as well as many Senior Technical positions.”

Alex Chalke

Alex is a Principal Consultant in the Energy practice. After a number of years in retail management, Alex joined his first search firm where he climbed up the ranks very quickly. Within 2 years, Alex was leading a small team of consultants dedicated to the energy sector. Since then he has spent the past 4 years developing his knowledge of the oil and gas market as well as his understanding of the life cycle of an oil and gas field. Alex has attended a number of seminars and training sessions at the London Geological Society.

Alex's experience to date has brought a wealth of knowledge to Cripps Sears & Partners, and he now leads our Subsurface and Technical executive search practice.

Graham Spencer

Graham heads the international LNG and Midstream practice. His focus comprises all facets of the LNG value chain including technical and commercial disciplines as well as portfolio development & optimisation, and trading & transportation of all energy commodities. His body of work comprises executive, commercial and technical energy personnel from all over the world.

Martin Warner

Martin is a Principal Consultant in the Energy practice, supporting clients across the globe.  He brings a 25-year track record of delivering key appointments in the Energy and Engineering markets that exploit technology to deliver efficiencies, effectiveness or new business streams. This has lent itself to high-profile searches on behalf of public corporations, as well as leading pre-IPO and emerging companies. He has carried out numerous searches across the world for business leaders, managers and domain experts.

James Nichols

James focuses on the delivery of executive search assignments within the Energy & Infrastructure sectors, with particular experience in senior management/ director level roles. He has successfully recruited for technical, commercial and operational assignments. He joined Cripps Sears from the Accountancy profession and he also has previous experience with a leading Financial Services executive search firm. James is a business graduate and his interests include cars and a variety of sports including endurance events.

Darren Kershaw

Darren is a member of the energy team and his experience includes working with investment banks and other financial institutions, as well as global oil and gas companies of various sizes and outlooks.  Darren has lived and worked in Japan and is a Japanese speaker.  He has a passion for the languages, culture and economics of East Asia and is a graduate with honours from Sheffield University with a degree which focussed on these areas.

Tom Isobe

Tom graduated from Sheffield University where he read Economics. He is a researcher and specialist in the international energy and infrastructure industries. He enjoys playing football in his spare time.

Evelina Aleksandraviciute

Evelina is a member of the Cripps Sears & Partners Energy Team with a broad discipline remit and a particular focus on the Russia and CIS region, where she uses her key language skills in order to develop and liaise with others on assignments. She speaks Russian, French, German and Lithuanian. She is a graduate of Law and Management and has a masters in Administrative Law.
