Andrew Somerville
Andrew read Economics at the University of Edinburgh and began his career as a practising Barrister subsequently specialising in corporate tax with KPMG. He has over thirteen years search experience and leads the Professional Services Practice Group. Clients include law firms, accountancy firms, management consultancies, financiers and advisers. Andrew has developed parallel expertise in recruiting senior personnel within the renewable energy sector and has relationships amongst sponsors, developers and funders with interests in wind, waste, solar, clean technology and nuclear.
Andrew was recently named by Executive Grapevine Magazine as one of the UK's 'Forty under Forty' executive search consultants.
Nicola Dennes
Nicola is a Principal Consultant in the Professional Services Practice. As a business studies graduate she joined Cripps Sears & Partners in 2006 with over eight years international recruitment experience gained with two of the top international recruitment companies.
She has worked both in the UK and internationally within professional services, focusing on Legal, HR and Tax & Accounting, predominantly within Energy and Infrastructure and her experience also encompasses working within Insurance and Trading. Nicola is an integral part of the Professional Services Practice Group, providing executive search services to both professional practices and industry.
Nicola has come from an entrepreneurial family, and has found this to provide her an invaluable insight into business. Nicola is also a keen sportswoman and competes in triathlons, running events, and is an active member of British Military Fitness. She enjoys a challenge, and recently raised over £3,000 for The Princes Trust by participating in a five day running and cycling endurance event in the Sahara.
