LNG Terminal - Commercial Operations Manager
European Energy Company, LNG Business Unit
The position takes responsibility for all commercial and regulatory activities related to
the implementation and operation of a new LNG terminal in Europe.
- Develop and implement a full commercial framework including planning,scheduling, cost and quality control during the implementation phase of theterminal
- Negotiate and manage inter-shipper arrangements (currently non-existent)
- Interface management with all stakeholders (e.g. terminal operator, LNG
supply team, downstream market unit, back office)
- Monitor and manage day to day operations (cargo scheduling, inventory
tracking, gas dispatching)
- Maintain effective communications between all relevant internal and external
parties
- Develop and implement business processes and working structures of the
terminal.
- Report regularly to shareholders and supervisory bodies
- Implement a controlling and reporting system
- Manage and control all regulatory aspects and governmental requirements
relating to the LNG terminal.
- Plan, monitor, supervise and steer the LNG terminal budgets according to the
management board (e.g. business plans, cost calculations and
reimbursements etc)
- Plan, monitor, supervise and steer the budget of the terminal in accordance
with the budget agreed among the shareholders.
- Manage communications with Shareholders and deal with any potential issues
Can have experience from the commercial side of LNG terminals or the technical side if the candidate has a commercial brain and is keen to develop their commercial skills.

To Manage the transition of an independent business to a fully fledged, publicly listed company and to lead the growth with the aim of at least doubling its size within 2 years
Based in London and Moscow this is an excellent opportunity to lead a soon to be publicly listed gas player in Russia. With offices in London and Moscow and operations in Southern Russia, this is a relatively young company that has the support of a seasoned board and senior management team who possess a wealth of experience in the Russian market. The company has recently finished construction of its first gas plant in the region with a second planned in the next phase of development. The main responsibilites will be:
• To lead and grow the business through its next phase of development and beyond.
• To ensure a credible and achievable growth plan is put in place and executed for this 2nd phase.
• To build a strong working relationship internally with the senior management team.
• To establish relationships externally with the city, investors and other relevant contacts or external bodies
Significant experience in the upstream (some midstream) oil and gas sector and the project management of major facilities, ideally onshore would be desirable.
Experience of working with, and in Russia or the former Soviet Union is essential as well as the leadership of a significant business unit or a small company
Exposure to funding and investors would also be a useful skill to have.
A Degree/Masters in Engineering
